ロブ・ゾンビの「マーダー・ライド・ショー」という映画の1シーン














蟷螂の雌は交尾の後に相手の雄を食い殺すという話を聞いたことがある。
しかしそれは単にこれからの産卵の為に栄養を得る為の生理的な捕食行動に過ぎ
ず、其処には何ら幻想性は関与せず、あるのはただ単なる現実のみである。
幻想の為に殺すのは人間のみである。

僕はそういうことを考えていた。

しかし、目の前に横たわる嘗ての愛人の死体を前にして僕は少し呆然としている。
僕は彼女を僕の中よりふつふつと湧き上がる愛情という幻想に基づく殺意によっ
て殺害した筈であった。殺す前、或いは殺している最中であっても、そのような
感情に由来する高揚感のようなものに自身の体躯が震えるのを実感していたので
ある。にも関わらず、今の僕にはそのような感情はとうに失われてしまっている。
今の僕は、愛するが故に殺人を全うした達成感も、或いは愛人を永遠に失った喪
失感もなく、嘗ての愛人の死体を前にぼうと立ち尽くしている。恋愛や憎悪や快
感やサヂズムといった幻想はコトを成してしまった瞬間に消え失せ、残るのは単
なる肉塊としての死体という現実のみである。

さて、現実としてこの死体をどうしよう？
